HS Cross Country will run at LCU tomorrow. Girls will run at 12:15 and boys at 12:40.
Senior Pep Rally
The senior pep rally will be held at the football field at 2:45. Each senior will be passing down a legacy to a younger Indians or Maidens
Senior Football game.
Before the Morton Vs. O’Donnell football game, seniors who participate in football, cheer, band and cross country will be honored. The ceremony will start at 7:00 and the football game at 7:30.
JH Indians will be playing at O’Donnell starting at 5:30pm this evening. Come out and support the undefeated JH football team!
Notes for seniors and their parents from the High School
Monday, Oct. 19th, a representatives from Herff Jones will be on campus in the Art Room from 11:00 to 2:00. They will be taking orders and down payment for cap/gown/tassel, high school rings, and such. Parents are Invited to attend.
Oct. 20th Seniors will take the ACT beginning at 8:00.
Monday, Oct. 26th, Representatives from South Plains College financial aid office will be at MHS to help seniors and their parents with the FAFSA. Remember all seniors must complete a FAFSA this year. The FAFSA opened Oct. 1. If you can bring the following information with you or have your parents bring the information with them, you should have the best advising/help with completing your FAFSA
possible. There is a sign up sheet in the counseling office to allow you to sign up for a specific time for your parents between 9:00 and 3:00.
You will need the following items to complete the FAFSA forms
--Parent and Student FSA ID’s, Students and Parents may apply for FSA ID on studentaid.gov website.
--Social Security Number
--Alien Registration Number
--2019 Federal Tax Information or Tax Returns and or W2’s if they did not file a return.
--Untaxed Income Records
--Cash, Savings and Checking Account Balances,
--Investments other than the House in which you live.
Oct. 26th, Aruturo Martinez from will be on campus to provide advising for dual credit students and/or seniors preparing to attend South Plains college.
Oct. 27th Seniors and all current dual credit students will take the TSI-Accuplacer in Reading/Writing and Math.
All students come back tomorrow including PK.

Cross Country Information:
HS will leave @ 8:30 from the gym Saturday, 10/10. We will compete at 11:00 & 11:15 in Lubbock (Mae Simmons Park).
JH will leave @ 2:30 from the gym Monday, 10/12. We will compete at 4:00 & 4:30 in Sundown.
