Reminder: UIL physicals are tomorrow, Monday, May 17. All 2021-2022 incoming 7,9 & 11 graders must have a new physical to participate in athletics, band or cheer.

Paperwork is being sent home with all 2021-2022 incoming 7th, 9th and 11th grade students. Students MUST have this paperwork completed and signed by the parent/guardian to be able to receive a physical. Students can turn paperwork into Coach B Ramsey or Mrs Truitt.

UIL Physicals will be given at the school on Monday, May 17, 2021. Students wanting to participate in any UIL activity MUST have a physical. All 2021-2022 incoming 7th, 9th and 11th grade students are required to have a new physical this year.

Graduation for class of 2021
Date: May 28, 2021
Time: 7 p.m.
Place: Cochran County Activity Center.
Due to COVID graduation admission will be limited. Each senior will receive 10 tickets. The public will be able to pick up tickets as well. General admission tickets will be limited to 2 tickets per adult. Students will not be given tickets. These will be given out by first come first serve.
Tickets must be picked up from the high school office beginning May 10, 2021 at 8:00. You will need to sign for the tickets. If you have any questions, please contact the Morton High School office at 806-266-5505.

Morton seventh graders spent the last two days creating paper flowers for their teachers in honor of Teacher Appreciation Week. CTE students are planning a "room service" luncheon for teachers on Friday and the yearbook staff delivered gifts to teachers this morning.

The senior scholarship awards assembly is scheduled for May 10, 2021
in the multipurpose room at the high school at 2:45


Tomorrow is going to be a BLAST!!!! K-2 Program, 3-6 Concert, Loteria and Prizes!!!!


Congrats to Christian and Ethan for getting their ServSafe Food Managers Certification. The exam is a challenge for adults working in the food service industry, let alone full time high school students. Morton ISD is proud of you.


Morton will have athletic banquet Thursday, May 6th in the multi purpose room at HS starting at 6pm

Congratulations to Morton 5th, 6th & 7th grade band members who competed in the Abernathy Band Festival on Friday. Morton entered 2 bands and both received a rating of 1, the highest rating possible. Go Indians!
