The intent of this letter is to provide additional information to school systems about iWatchTexas and how it supports safe schools and communities.

It is going to be an exciting year as we are celebrating our 11th year of the program in the Lubbock/South Plains, and we look forward to honoring many awesome area teachers this year.
If you are not yet familiar with the Teachers On The Rise program, here is a brief recap of what the program is all about. This student/family nominated program honors three teachers every month--one in elementary, one middle school/junior high and one high school. We know teachers have such a tremendous impact on students every day, and these are the stories we want to hear about. Our nomination portal, www.MrsBTeacher.com. Students and families are welcome to nominate current or former teachers. Thank you for your support of our great teachers.
