Earlier we reported that a student had tested positive for Covid-19. Since that announcement it was learned that a staff member has also tested positive. Morton Schools will be closed tomorrow for deep cleaning. Friday remote learning will continue as planned. Monday is a holliday and we will return to school on Tuesday. Thank You

Morton ISD has purchased several disinfecting foggers to add an additional measure in our facility cleaning process. Disinfectant fogging involves saturating an entire room with a microbial substance that can purify and remove pathogens from the air, as well as from surfaces within the room. Disinfectant fogging is highly effective at combating pathogens, particularly those that are airborne or carried in respiratory droplets, such as the flu virus or COVID-19. This is an additional protection in above our professional GermBlast applications.
