Indians

The Indians have made quite the impression this season. Under new leadership by head coach and athletic director Keith Mauldin, the Indians have seen more success than they have seen in over a decade. Not only did the Indians make it to the playoffs this year, but they made history by becoming bi-district champions in 11-man football for the first time in over a decade at Morton High School. The Indians took out the Lockney Longhorns with a score of 31-22 to advance to the area championship, where they will face off with the Wellington Skyrockets.

The Indians and Mauldin have set the bar high for the rest of the athletic programs at MISD and for the future of Morton High School football. To say the community and school are proud of our Indians would be an understatement. It is the first time since COVID that any sports team at MHS has won the bi-district round and moved on to the area round.

Spirits are once again high in the hallways of MHS and throughout the community as we await what comes next for our Indians!

Help cheer on our Indians as they take on the Wellington Skyrockets in Canyon, TX, on Thursday, November 16th at 4:00 P.M.!
