Improve Your Score: $2,000
Open Through January
To qualify for the Improve Your Score Scholarship, students must improve their SAT score by 100 points—either from their PSAT™ 10 to SAT, PSAT/NMSQT® to SAT, or from a previous SAT—and practice on Official SAT Practice on Khan Academy® for six hours.
Complete the FAFSA: $1,000
Open Through February
Ensure that eligible students complete the FAFSA® form to apply for financial aid. After they submit the FAFSA, students can verify that they took this action on the College Board Opportunity Scholarships page to be eligible for a scholarship.
Note: Students who are legally ineligible to submit the FAFSA can still earn an entry for the scholarship by going to their My Action Plan page.
Apply to Colleges: $1,000
Open Through February
Ensure your students apply to at least two colleges they want to attend. To be eligible, students need to enter the names of two colleges where they submitted an application.
Note: Students who apply for early decision or early action can still earn an entry for the scholarship by going to their My Action Plan page.

SunTec Auto Glass Scholarship

The Horatio Alger Association offers one of the largest need-based college scholarship programs in the country. The Horatio Alger Scholarship Programs specifically assist high school students who've faced and overcome great obstacles in their young lives. While many programs are primarily focused on recognizing academic achievement or leadership potential, they seek students who have exhibited determination, integrity, and perseverance in overcoming adversity, as well as have critical financial need.

The application period for high school seniors pursuing bachelor's degree programs ends October 25.  The application for career and technical education is open until August 15; this is for students pursuing associate degrees or technical certifications.

Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation

The Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation believes that investing in students who are leaders, both academically and in service to others, will result in positive, lasting change and sustainable communities.

Encourage your students to apply to be a Coca-Cola Scholar by October 31, 2020, at 5 p.m. ET, and receive a chance for one of 150 college scholarships worth $20,000 through the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation. For more details and a link to the application, visit Cokeurl.com/scholarships.

Horatio Alger Association

The Horatio Alger Association welcomes eligible high school seniors to apply for the Horatio Alger Scholarships, which range from $10,000 to $25,000.

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be eligible to apply for these awards.

One application is all that's necessary to apply for state, national, and specialized programs. The application is open until October 25 and available at application.horatioalger.org.

Jack Kent Cooke Foundation

The Cooke College Scholarship Program is an undergraduate scholarship program available to high-achieving high school seniors with financial need who seek to attend and graduate from the nation's best four-year colleges and universities.

Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements.

The 2021 Cooke College Scholarship Program application closes on October 30, 2020, at 11:59 p.m., in your local time zone.
